Exercise

Exercise is of course good for your health, but it can also have a significant impact on your level of anxiety and depression.

The benefits are further optimized if you exercise in nature. "Forest bathing"  has been shown to actually lower cortisol levels, boost natural killer cells (shown to fight off infection), and maybe lower inflammation to protect brain health. 

 

Furthermore, social connections have been shown to improve longevity. 

 

Therefore, I'll be combining the two by having either:

 

1). regular group walks through the beautiful Kennebunkport Trust Trails* and

 

2). Tai Chi classes overlooking peaceful Samson's Cove behind our office* 

*with mask wearing and social distancing being observed
